Dear Friend:

First of all, I hope you and your family are safe and as healthy as can be. And I hope it stays that way for you in the days ahead. As our nation’s response to the COVID-19 virus evolves and intensifies, I wanted to let you know how the team here at Miracle Flights is adapting.

Most importantly, we want the families we fly to know we’re open, engaged and ready to support you on your journey. Our flight team is carefully monitoring guidance from the FAA and other news sources with your safety and convenience in mind. We expect that some of you, in consultation with your care providers, will want to postpone appointments; and we’ll be here to help with those schedule changes. We know that, for others, the need to travel is more urgent; and we’re here to help navigate any new guidelines and obstacles to ensure that you reach the medical care you need.

In the days ahead, many of our team members will be working from home, doing their part to help prevent the spread of the virus. But our entire team will continue to be just an email or phone call away. Our airline partners are experiencing especially long wait times for changes and cancellations, so we ask for your patience with us and them when special situations arise.

For those of you who support our work, we want you to know that we’ve postponed all fundraising events that would bring large groups of people into close contact. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to partnering with you on new initiatives in the near future.

Over the last 35 years, we’ve learned so much from the families we fly. We’ll do our best to emulate their optimism, courage and resilience in the days and weeks ahead. We know you will too.

Sincerely,

Mark E. Brown, CEO
Miracle Flights
