Meet 7-year-old Aleister, a brave and kind-hearted boy from Lincoln, California, who is on a mission for food freedom. Living with severe food allergies, Aleister travels to Long Beach, California, for specialized treatment at the Food Allergy Institute. His family learned about Miracle Flights through another family who also travels to the same treatment center, and since then, they’ve been a part of the Miracle Flights family.
Aleister has a warm and friendly personality that shines through despite the challenges he faces daily. He loves talking to people and making new friends, reflecting his positive outlook on life. Before receiving care at the Food Allergy Institute, Aleister faced numerous challenges due to his severe asthma and multiple food allergies. These challenges affected his life in many ways, including a limited diet, food anxiety, fear of allergic reactions, severe asthma attacks, frequent illnesses, limited physical abilities, dependence on medications, and frequent hospitalizations. Without specialized care, Aleister’s hospitalizations were frequent and took a toll on his physical and emotional well-being. These stays disrupted his daily routine, school, and social life, making his struggles even harder.
