Southwest Airlines
Southwest Airlines supports Miracle Flights through its Medical Transportation Grant Program, donating round-trip tickets each year to help patients access life-changing medical care far from home (southwest.com). Since 2007, Southwest has provided millions in travel value to help fuel the Miracle Flight mission, while helping Miracle Flights celebrate their 150,000 flight and 100 Million Mile milestones. Their ongoing partnership highlights a shared commitment to increasing access to life-changing healthcare, easing financial burdens for families, and bringing communities closer together.
“We’ve seen that patients often aren’t near a hospital or can’t afford air travel to a medical facility that provides the care they need,” said Laura Nieto, Managing Director Corporate Responsibility at Southwest Airlines. “Travel is often an important part of critical care needs, and it’s an honor to use our unique role as an airline to get patients closer to life-saving care.”
Blacklane
The partnership between Blacklane and Miracle Flights began in 2019, with Blacklane donating 50 free, door‑to‑door chauffeur rides per month across 71 U.S. cities to families traveling for life-changing medical care (blacklane.com). Over that time, they’ve completed more than 1,500 rides, covering over 30,000 miles and even surprising a family with a VIP trip to Disneyland in September 2023. This collaboration helps ease the stress of long journeys by offering safe, compassionate ground transportation that complements Miracle Flights’ free air travel program.
“There’s nothing more rewarding than helping people, except for doing it with a partner,” said Dr. Jens Wohltorf, CEO and co-founder of Blacklane. “Miracle Flights covers thousands of miles in the air for children in need of critical medical care. It’s our privilege to take care of the first and last miles of those trips and improve travel for families in need.”
WHSmith
Since 2021, WH Smith North America has sold plush bears, Miles and Hope, in airport stores across the U.S. Proceeds from each sale are donated to Miracle Flights, which helps fund the charity’s mission. Their ongoing collaboration has raised over $300,000 and supported more than 300 families in accessing life-changing medical care far from home.

Paradies
Paradies Lagardère has partnered with Miracle Flights to sell an exclusive airplane plush toy named “Skyler” in its U.S. airport stores, with every purchase directly funding free flights for children needing medical care far from home. This collaboration was officially announced at the 2025 Airport Experience Conference in Washington, D.C., when Gregg Paradies (Paradies Lagardère’s CEO) and Dr. John Rinaldo (Miracle Flights’ VP of Development) introduced Skyler to the public. By turning every Skyler sale into a donation to the charity, the collaboration transforms travel retail proceeds into life-changing journeys for families in need
