Miracle Flights seeks a seasoned, execution-focused Chief of Enterprise to lead the organization’s operational strategy and delivery of care during a critical phase of growth.
This executive leader will oversee the full enterprise operation, ensuring that flights, ground transportation, and family support services are delivered with consistency, efficiency, compassion, and accountability. The Chief of EnterpriseEnterprise will build and lead the systems, workflows, and partnerships required to scale nationally while maintaining excellence in service and safety.
Location: Based at our Las Vegas headquarters, with flexibility for a hybrid or remote work model.
Salary: Compensation range: $150,000–$175,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Reporting Relationship
The Chief of EnterpriseEnterprise reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and serves as a key member of the executive leadership team.
Purpose of the Position
The Chief of EnterpriseEnterprise is responsible for leading Miracle Flights’ operations, service delivery, and enterprise infrastructure. This role ensures that all operational systems, partners, and workflows are aligned, disciplined, and scalable in support of the mission.
This executive will:
- Serve as the CEO’s strategic partner for enterprise operations and organizational execution
- Lead the delivery of medical travel services for children and families
- Build sustainable operating models and performance systems
- Ensure operational excellence, risk management, and compliance
- Translate strategy into execution across the organization
Enterprise Operations Scope & Oversight
The Chief of EnterpriseEnterprise is accountable for the end-to-end execution of Miracle Flights’ operational and enterprise functions, ensuring alignment with organizational standards, priorities, and growth objectives.
This includes oversight of:
- Program & Care Delivery Operations Medical flight coordination, ground transportation, and family support services, ensuring safe, timely, and compassionate care delivery.
- Operational Systems & Process Execution Design, implementation, and continuous improvement of workflows that support scalability, efficiency, and accountability.
- Technology Enablement & Infrastructure Oversight of technology systems, cybersecurity, data integrity, and operational tools that support service delivery and performance.
- Financial Operations & Controls Oversight of operational financial processes, budgeting discipline, internal controls, and reporting readiness.
- Human Resources & Workforce Operations Oversight of HR systems, policies, compliance, training, and workforce operations.
- Facilities, Property & Asset Management Oversight of physical facilities, office operations, inventory, and organizational assets.
- Vendor, Partner & Consultant Oversight Coordination and management of external partners and consultants to ensure accountability, service quality, and alignment.
- Risk Management & Compliance Oversight of enterpriseoperational risk, regulatory compliance, and operational controls.
- Cross-Functional Execution Collaboration with philanthropy, marketing, finance, and technology to ensure strategy is executed effectively
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise & Operational Leadership
- Partner with the CEO on organizational strategy and execution
- Lead enterprise operations and service delivery at a national scale
- Establish operational KPIs, dashboards, and accountability systems
- Drive consistency, quality, and performance across the organization
Team Leadership & Culture
- Build and lead high-performing operational teams
- Set clear expectations, roles, and performance standards
- Support change management and organizational transitions
Operational Excellence
- Oversee operational planning, forecasting, and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with nonprofit, transportation, and risk standards
- Implement tools and systems that improve efficiency and scalability
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 12–15+ years of senior leadership experience in operations, enterprise management, healthcare services, logistics, or complex service organizations
- Proven experience scaling operations in a national or multi-site environment
- Strong background in process design, performance management, and systems implementation
