Dr. Christopher Khorsandi, MD, has served for a decade as Chairman of the Board of Miracle Flights, where he leads the organization’s commitment to ensuring that distance never stands between a child and the lifesaving medical care they need. As steward of the nation’s leading medical flight charity, Dr. Khorsandi oversees governance, fiduciary responsibility, and mission integrity for an organization that provides more than 700 free flights each month to families seeking essential treatment far from home.
A board-certified plastic surgeon in private practice in Las Vegas, Dr. Khorsandi brings more than twenty years of clinical, organizational, and philanthropic leadership to Miracle Flights. His background includes medical training at Villanova University, Temple University School of Medicine, the University of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Hospital, and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, followed by residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. Beyond his clinical career, Dr. Khorsandi has contributed to medical innovation, regenerative therapeutics, and the development of technologies that expand treatment options for complex reconstructive patients. He is a former president of the Las Vegas Plastic Surgery Society and serves as Chief Medical Officer for Tiger Aesthetics.
As Board Chairman, Dr. Khorsandi works to safeguard Miracle Flights’ long-term sustainability, ethical standards, and public trust. He leads the board in advancing policies and strategic priorities that strengthen national access to care, deepen community partnerships, and protect the organization’s responsibility to the families it serves. His leadership reflects a deep belief that every child—regardless of diagnosis, geography, or financial means—deserves the chance to reach health, hope, and healing.

Jessica Connell

Jessica Connell is the Executive Director of Connell Outdoor Advertising. She manages billboard operations and philanthropic initiatives at the company's headquarters in Las Vegas, Nevada, and its sister company, Shore Sign Service, in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Her experience in outdoor advertising includes executing local and national sales strategies and managing inventory.
Born and raised in Las Vegas, she graduated from Durango High School and Leadership Las Vegas. She is benevolently committed to the Las Vegas community. Her past leadership includes serving as the Co-Chair for Young Professionals Against Cancer with the American Cancer Society and coaching women’s club volleyball. Prior to Connell Outdoor, she held management roles at 60Frames Entertainment and fox21 Studio, where she produced original content for various digital and television platforms.
Jessica earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and International Business from Loyola Marymount University and most recently graduated from the Executive Program in Management at the John Anderson Graduate School of Management. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, practicing yoga, and playing beach volleyball and tennis.

Joel G. Jarvis

Joel G. Jarvis, Board Treasurer, is a commercial insurance broker with USI Insurance, specializing in property and casualty insurance for municipalities, construction firms, attorneys, and nonprofit organizations. He brings extensive experience developing comprehensive property and casualty programs for clients across a wide range of industries.
Joel has more than twenty years of experience in the insurance industry, in addition to seven years as an internal accountant with Las Vegas Sands, Inc., Perlman Architecture, and Capitol Pacific Homes. Early in his insurance career, he handled auto, home, life, and annuity policies as an agent with Horace Mann Insurance Companies, serving teachers of the Clark County School District.
Joel has served on the boards of directors of Miracle Flights, Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN), ARC of Nevada, Jewish Family Services Agency, the Institute of Management Accountants, and the Opportunity Village ARC Board. He has also served on the Accreditation Team for the United Way of Southern Nevada and has been actively involved with the Clark County Bar Association since 2005.
In recognition of his service, Joel was named Ambassador of the Year by the Clark County Bar Association in 2004 and received the organization’s Liberty Bell Award in 2005. Joel holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Finance and Law from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois. In his free time, he enjoys golf, travel, and watching his son play flag football. Joel is deeply committed to serving the children and families of Miracle Flights and is continually inspired by their remarkable stories of resilience and recovery.

Eric Grilly

Eric Grilly is the President of Cirrus Aviation, a leading private aviation company specializing in charter services, aircraft management, and operational excellence. In this role, Grilly is responsible for driving strategic growth, operational scalability, and leading initiatives that elevate Cirrus’s position as a best-in-class operator.
In addition to his role at Cirrus, Grilly is the Founder and Managing Partner of Velona Ventures, launched to serve as a strategic advisory and consultancy platform focused on helping private equity portfolio companies and founder-led businesses accelerate growth, optimize organizational performance, and build sustainable leadership capability.
Previously, Grilly held executive leadership roles across live entertainment, media, and sports. As President of the Resident Shows Division for Cirque du Soleil, he led strategy and execution to enhance profitability, productivity, and operational efficiency across the Division’s global footprint, while maximizing business opportunities for key partners. He managed six core Cirque du Soleil productions in Las Vegas, including Mystère, “O”, The Beatles LOVE, KÀ, Michael Jackson ONE, and Mad Apple, as well as the Cirque du Soleil–Disney collaboration, Drawn to Life, in Orlando. His responsibilities later expanded to include affiliate companies Blue Man Group and VStar Entertainment.
Before Cirque du Soleil, Grilly was CEO of VStar Entertainment Group, leading its growth as the premier global live entertainment touring partner for Nickelodeon. Under his leadership, VStar acquired Cirque Dreams and partnered with NBCUniversal, ultimately leading to its acquisition by Cirque du Soleil in 2018.
Earlier in his career, Grilly served as President of Alli Sports, a division of NBC Sports Group, overseeing a portfolio of premier action and adventure sports events. He also held the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Digital Officer for NBC Sports Regional Networks, where he was responsible for all digital operations, including strategy, content development, and new business growth.
