Miles, the Bear
Made with love, joy, and a dab of ‘paw-fection.’ Miles the Bear is Miracle Flights’s mascot and an esteemed SOAR team member. He is known for spreading ‘paw-sitivity’ to children and families traveling beyond their communities to receive life-changing medical care. In his free time, Miles enjoys sightseeing, crafting paper airplanes, taking endless selfies with his big smile, and dancing, especially in front of the camera. He never leaves home without his aviator hat and goggles, faux fur-trimmed leather jacket, and ivory silk scarf that protects him from the unpredictable wind shear along the stratosphere. He loves to be in the pilot’s seat with a full view of the cerulean sky as he soars around on Miles Force One. His favorite cabin libation and snack are fresh lemonade stirred with a generous amount of organic honey and freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. Hope, the Bear
Created from the same brew of love, joy, and ‘paw-fection,’ we proudly introduce Miles’ travel companion and the newest member of the SOAR team, Hope. She is known for her salmon-tinged goggles, pink-trimmed aviator jacket and hat, snowy fur, and cozy, velvety scarf. When not comforting and providing cheers to children during their journeys, Hope likes to join Miles, crisscrossing the sky on Hope Force One and leaving heart trails. Cuddly, charming, and heart-warming, Hope also has an affinity for all things berry, lavender, and chamomile’s calming and healing effects. A ‘paw-fect’ day for Hope involves spending time with children and families, listening to stories of Miles’ frequent travels across all 50 states, and telling tales of her travels across Miracle Land, a whimsical city above the clouds inhabited by the SOAR team.

Smiles with Miles and Friends is Miracle Flights’ mission-driven children’s series, created to educate, uplift, and inspire pediatric patients across the nation. Led by our beloved mascot, Miles, the Bear, each episode invites young viewers on behind-the-scenes adventures that ignite curiosity about travel, aviation, and the many wonders of the world.
