Dr. Christopher Khorsandi
Dr. Christopher Khorsandi, MD, has served for a decade as Chairman of the Board of Miracle Flights, where he leads the organization’s commitment to ensuring that distance never stands between a child and the lifesaving medical care they need. As steward of the nation’s leading medical flight charity, Dr. Khorsandi oversees governance, fiduciary responsibility, and mission integrity for an organization that provides more than 700 free flights each month to families seeking essential treatment far from home.
A board-certified plastic surgeon in private practice in Las Vegas, Dr. Khorsandi brings more than twenty years of clinical, organizational, and philanthropic leadership to Miracle Flights. His background includes medical training at Villanova University, Temple University School of Medicine, the University of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Hospital, and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, followed by residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. Beyond his clinical career, Dr. Khorsandi has contributed to medical innovation, regenerative therapeutics, and the development of technologies that expand treatment options for complex reconstructive patients. He is a former president of the Las Vegas Plastic Surgery Society and serves as Chief Medical Officer for Tiger Aesthetics.
As Board Chairman, Dr. Khorsandi works to safeguard Miracle Flights’ long-term sustainability, ethical standards, and public trust. He leads the board in advancing policies and strategic priorities that strengthen national access to care, deepen community partnerships, and protect the organization’s responsibility to the families it serves.
